Chris' article in Fine Gardening Mag...Aug 2008 issue

Post by anitamo »

Great article Chris! It feels like I know a celebrity. :D
It was about the toad lily virus, and the information you gave is excellent. Way to go on getting the facts out there, the more we know...the better we'll do. Thanks.

largosmom, I went to their website and couldn't find it. Will have to check back later as some sites wait a while before adding new upcoming articles.

Thanks for the feedback. :D They asked Dr. Lockhart at the Univ. of Minnesota to write an article about it and he referred them to me - so I felt like I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Although it is the August 2008 issue, it just came out and if it isn't already it will be on newsstands soon. It was neat to finally see it in print, complete with my own larger than life photographs. Although had I known they would make the pictures so prominent I probably would have asked for more money :P

Thanks again!

After lunch with the red hatters on Thursday, my friend and I stopped at Barnes and Noble. I found Fine Gardening and got to read your article. Great job Chris! It was well written and informative. I really enjoyed it. :D

Thank Pat, I didn't find it at the local shops so I guess I'll have to head across town to the B&N to find a copy.
