First ever Dracunculus bloom

Post by HostaDesigner »

I got this 3 years ago and I've never seen it bloom until today! Last year, it came close, but the dog bit the stinky flower off and tried to roll in it. So, I moved it outside the fence, and FINALLY it bloomed.

Our dog is sniffing the air to get a whiff of the stench. YOU'RE NOT GETTING THEM THIS YEAR, PUP!!

is that hardy in MI? I've always liked those, but I was under the impression they wouldn't grow this far north.
