Aster 'October Skies' in its glory

Aster 'October Skies' is my favorite Aster - flowers like crazy, doesn't flop over (so long as the soil isn't too wet or rich), and hasn't had any disease issues for us, like other asters sometimes can. It starts flowering in September and keeps going well into October, and I've even seen it weather through frost and snow yet continue to flower.

It also doesn't have any major self-seeding issues. I've only had a few self-sown seedlings around after growing it here for 5 years.

Enjoy :)

Chris

Yup, I'm not growing that whole row just for my own enjoyment, though I really do like them :D

Lol Chris! Although they are pretty in that row. :D I love Aster but don't have room to add more, I think that one is my favorite color.
