I have the Shima Nishiki. It bloomed the bi-color last year (first bloom) and this year it bloomed a deep red. Any idea what causes this and if there is anything I can do to change it back?? It's pretty this way, but I want the original!! Jo

No, a tree peony grows on wood like a shrub
Cut leaf or fernleaf peonies are true perennials
