Some pretties

Post by LucyGoose »

I just thought I post some pretties.....I can't wait to see some, and by the looks of them out in the garden, I am thinking that I might have lost more than I think.......maybe not though....they seem to be the first J&P roses that I see no life or green...that's okay, I have some in the garage from Pickerings that I never got planted.....

Enjoy!!

Very pretty, Lucy. I can smell them from here. I gave up on J&P a few years ago. All my roses from them were dying. I need to find a new source.

Thanks for the pictures.

Those are great LG! Love the Heritage one the best.

Pandora, I have had the same problem with J&P roses. It doesn;t seem to matter if I get them from a box store or directly from J&P. They just don't do well for me.

I will probably stick with Pickering, that multiflora root stock just loves my Pa clay!

OC had the same luck with J&P stock. Grew the year they were planted and never came back. OC doesn't really have enough sun for roses except on his deck. Moved one from the yard and trying to keep it alive.

Glad you haved some pretty ones.....OC

They are beautiful, LucyGoose. I especially like Black Magic.

My mother doesn't like J&P roses either. She has refused to buy them for years.

OH I love all of them!
Question.........How the heck do ya take a pic of a red rose?
Mine always come out neon looking. Your red one turned out perfect!
Oh by the way I think that yellow one is really nice :)
