Oh my aching back!

Post by caliloo »

I couldn't sleep last night, so I started poking around on Craig's List. A woman who lives a few minutes from me had posted (in the afternoon) that she was getting rid of all her roses - and listed all 95 varieties!

I spent today diggin out 9 from her garden to bring home, and will be going back for more tomorrow. Aye Yi Yi! What have I done!?!?!?!?!

It also meant a trip to HD to get bagged composted manure and 4 HOURS of digging just to have a place to stick them in the ground until their permanent home is ready.

Here are the new arrivals..........

Ambridge Rose '08
Baronne Prevost '08
Cottage Rose '08
Tuscany Superb '08
Orange Mothersday '08
Jude the Obscure '08
2 Gene Boerner '08
The Herbalist '08

I will be mainlining Advil for the rest of the evening. Even typing hurts!
