Rugosa Roses
At risk of asking a dumb question ,is it recommended to deadhead Rugosas for some reason I thought it wasn't necessary? This poor young bush looks sad with bygone blossoms.
Re: Rugosa Roses
if you deadhead them they will bring you no fruits... giving a great marmelade, but cleaning them is a lot of time..be sure to wear gloves...
They are invasive her and I have never heard of anyone deadheading them, but sure the rose will not use energy making the seeds/fruit
