If you line a wire basket with sphagnum moss, where do you hang it so it won't drip? Does it need a shepherd's hook in the yard?

Oh it's gonna drip wherever you put it...but at least if you put a hook in a flowerbed then then the dripping won't bother you. :D

Well, I sure don't want it dripping on my porch. I guess I'll use the shepherd's hook.

BTW, I soaked the stuff and spread it in the basket but it sure looks messy to me. Maybe I should buy baskets that are already made.

Hi MR!! When I was still in the Floral Industry, we used to do plenty of cemetary baskets lined with sphagnum moss! You're right to soak it well before adding the soil.

I think this looks much better than the pre-lined ones you can purchase! I like the shaggy appearance.....and even tho it does drip thru, it holds the soil pretty moist. Good luck!......p
