Those beautiful orchids

OC...

Don't know about spring coming so quickly (here in London they say it is possible it snows TOMORROW :eek: ), but those orchids you got above are really elegant... I have recently been in Southafrica at my mother-in-law's house, and she has some gorgeous orchids from the hanging variety, which grow in "nests" on her trees.

Unfortunately as we had expected, they FroZE before blooming. Stems are still green, but pods gone. OC will leave the stems until they die on their own, as they are supposed to be making food for the next time they bloom , whenever that is.....
