:o WOW! Artwork in a basket! Your color combos are a knockout! It doesn't seem to be in a container, but what's that pink beauty by the log bird house?

You mean the shrub next to the doorstep? That's a spirea - not sure of the variety but it's all pink. That log birdhouse is actually bird-made. The tree was alongside the driveway - and the top broke off. I had hubs saw off the part that remained right below the cavity that had recently been made (I think by a downy) - and I like it so much I just placed it on the doorstep (which is in dire need of repainting ;))

Spirea! DUH! It looks so different in that setting. The Silver maple tree that I'm taking out in the back has a section with 3 woodpecker nest holes in it about 10ft up. If I leave that much of the trunk, I was planning on putting plants in there and using the rest as a clematis pole. Grand visions. Just to lazy to get off my butt.

Snow, you have such a great knack for beautiful combinations...and your photography is, as always, stunning! :D

My containers don't hold a candle to yours. Perhaps tomorrow though I will get off my lazy bum and take a shot or two! Uh, I think I have been saying that for about 2 months now, eh?

Your gardens are beautiful Dee - and you forget, I've seen some of your arrangements and containers - they are always lovely. Now get to photographing

OMG, Snow, they are gorgeous! Luv them all. Does the Lobelia stay in bloom for the entire season?

It's been in bloom since I planted it in May. I think if it's happy, it will last a good part of the season
