Love your pics! I caught 2 in my feeders the other morning. I tapped on the bathroom window...then had to laugh at the broad jumps each one took to push themselves away from the feeders.

I wonder what my neighbor thought about ME standing inside at the window with my elbow on the sill...waving my hand and wrist back and forth imitating the actions of those two rascals who were in the nearby tree "flicking" those big bushy tails in my direction!!

It sure irritated 'em...and made me laugh right outloud!......p

I've always liked squirrels. Would you believe I have none? We've lived here almost three years now and I've seen one or two a couple times. At the rate I feed our birds you'd think I'd have hundreds of squirrels. We live in the country and are surrounded by crop fields, however, just behind us, not a half acre away is a big woods filled with acorn trees. To get to my feeder they'd have to leave their woods and come across open ground. Maybe that's why they don't bother.

I love your pictures. They are stinkers, huh?

I'll send you mine! I have a family living in the attic above my bed. They wake up energetically every AM about 4-5. Sometimes they fall down into the walls right behind my pillows and get stuck. 10 minutes of scrambling (this was at 3 AM) with small crys and he got himself out. We've called the Apt office several times and the dweeb they send out won't aknowlege the fact that I've watched them enter and exit the hole where the security light wires enter the building. He plugged a different spot. They have set traps but I don't think they caught anything. The squirrels enjoy my potting soil too.

Spider, yikes! I sure hope you can get the apt. manager/maintenance to do something. That's certainly not the way I want squirrels. Sorry you're suffering through that.

This little one hasn't learned the fine art of jumping into the birdfeeders yet! He is soo happy with the piece of apple found on the ground.

Umm, I am not sure but I think "Bev" is a boy :o

Cute pics everyone/. My squirrels were a bit confused after the ice storm. Many of their usual "trail" branches used to jump from tree to tree are gone now, and they were not sure where to go. Lots of grumbling going on the first few days they came out after the ice melted
