Oh my gosh, what is he? A hedgehog? He is kinda cute.
Before criticizing someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them you will be a mile away and have their shoes!

What is he munching on? Is he a vegetarian or does he eat insects?

LG - I suspect they eat bugs etc since they can live wild in bush.

I went out and gave him some bread and a soft pear.
We often get them around here at this time of year (I'm guessing its their breeding season???), and I will go out and leave apples on the ground in the garden at night for when they come out.

O.C. told you earlier that he loved out of the states critter pictures. He sure is cute. Is he nocturnal ? You said you left apples out for him at night. That sounds like a little Critter we call the Possom, or Opossom

The Rose in that AVATAR is beautiful. I would know who this post was from just looking at the avatar. Way to go there Rebekah

That Funny and Friendly Old Coot STILL looking for "SPRING" in just 3 more days in the states....

We do get possums here. They're a very big problem in New Zealand - eating natives and spreading diseases (TB) to cattle etc.

Our big dairy farm neighbour each year come around with his workers and they shoot them in our river-side trees.
