Our resident mourning doves at work have already built a nest in the burning bush and are sitting on it. :o

I have been watching my doves gathering sticks and such too. But haven't seen any nest yet.

Snow, these guys are SO tame that I was only six feet from the nest when I took this. :P Last year they built a nest in the bush right beside the back door at work. :o :lol:

Boy, wouldn't my kitty like to see this nest - no foliage to hide it, I can see her now, planning a future snack. Don't you wish you could teach a cat to leave some things alone.

I frequently see them in our yard but have never found a nest. Last year, I didn't see the pair sitting in the daylily bed. When I walked down there, they flew up and scared the bejeebers out of me. :lol:
