Backyard Wildlife Habitats

Post by Gardentoad »

I recently completed training as a stuart for the National Wildlife Federation Backyard Habitat program.
I was wondering how many here have their backyards certifiied?

I have had my backyard meeting the requirements for this for years, both here and at our last home. A few years ago they sold the field behind us to build homes so I wnt ahead and got certified to have proof I had created this enviroment before the building started in case someone tried to get me to change. This summer I plant to try and bring the BWH idea to the new neighbors while they are still in the planning stages for their landscapes.

Never before have so few with so much promised to take away so much from so many and then laugh their asses off as the so many with so little vote for the so few with so much.

We have been for 10-12 years - so long I can't remember when we did it.
