A Still Life

Post by patsue53 »

I just returned from my annual sibling reunion. This year we got together in the Missouri Winery area of Hermann, MO and Augusta, MO. My brother asked for the wrong Saturday off so my sister-in-law and I drove down together on Friday and on the way stopped at Sugar Creek Winery in the Augusta, MO area. This cool guy stopped at our table for a long visit and posed for several pictures. I'm calling it "Walking Stick on a Blue Bottle."

Very cool! Did you bring that bottle home too? :) Love that blue glass color!

You take the best wildlife/insect pics of anyone I know! :) Well, almost know anyway :)

Jane, you're mixing me up with Peg. She's the excelent wildlife photographer!

My sister-in-law took the bottle home with her. I promised to email her a pic of a blue bottle tree. (something I don't quite get the appeal of myself. ) She'd never heard of it and couldn't quite grasp the concept.

Well  , I might have been mistaken, but you took great pics of this one anyway! :)

My dd collects some of the blue glass bottles, thankfully it's getting old her to finally :)
