Great pics of that hawk. Is that the same as a red-tailed hawk? We have the red-tailed ones around here.

I have a fella that sneaks around my feeders too! Mine is very similiar....a rather small hawk with a long tail; a marsh hawk. It becomes somewhat of a competition between a huge red-tailed and that smaller marsh hawk!

Makes a gal feel kind of guilty......p

the Red Tail "Buteo jamaicensis" is different that the red shoulder "Buteo lineatus"
They are both beautiful birds.
