He's a beautiful fella! I think your pic is great! We used to have a huge white mulberry tree when I was a youngin'....the birds loved it.....and these were always a treat to see. Thanks for sharing!.....p :wink:

:P These guys are SO beautiful! My Illinois bird book says I am in the summer range but they always stop off at my place, stay anywhere from 2 days to a week, and then they are gone. :x Apparently they are migrating to your house! :lol:

Same here Peg! Gamush, I hear they love the orchards. Do you have any near you? Ours do the same as Pegs, stopping by to show off and then disappear west of here to the orchards!

We have them at our lake. The local bird watcher guy has seen them, I will have to look for them. Thanks for the pic, now I know what to look for, LOL.

We moved here in 1994, & I can only remember one year when they didn't spend the whole summer.
There are no orchards near here, and I have never seen a nest. This is pretty much a standard urban neighborhood, so I am not sure what attracts them to this area.
