I've watched this same eagle nest for a few years now. Usually, only one chick survives, but this year there are two. One is dark colored, the other light gray.

The mama is there right now feeding them.....and this is the first time I've ever seen them being bothered by a scoundrel raven! Hope you enjoy!.....p :wink:

oh wow! They've hatched? I was watching a few weeks ago and haven't been back recently. On my way to see if I can catch a glimpse of them...

These guys are huge now! (Almost as big as mamma!)

I visit them often...sometimes they're just resting...sometimes a parent is feeding them.

Their color has changed to a mottled grey/white. I understand they will not get that distinctive white head and tail until they are about 5 years of age.

Such noble birds they are!....p :wink:
