killing ground wasps

Post by Justaysam »

I didm't know where to post this question, so if anyone else knows let me know. How do you kill wasps that have burrowed into the ground and built a nest? Something, maybe racoons, have dug it up so it is now easier to get at. We have tried some kind of spray form, but it was not dug up then, so the spray was applied to the hole that first time. Anyone have a product, or idea on how to get rid of this hive?

Lots of good wasp and hornet sprays. Best/safest to apply at night and load it up. I've never had a problem getting rid of them.

We always used the spray every time a hornet flew out of the ground or nest,,, but the nest wasn't that large. You could also get one of those hornet traps and put it close to the nest,,,you know the bottle that they fly into and can't get out of again.

Good luck!
