pools of grey bugs, please help

Post by Dewdrop »

I was out by my garage a few minutes ago and noticed what I thought was some spilled paint by the side of the garage. To my suprise it turned out to be a pool of very small steel grey bugs of some sort. The mass was moving.
I could not tell if they were flys or what but very very small.
I looked around and found 2 more pools of them.
If anyone would know what these might be and how to get rid of them? Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you

 Ewwwwww.. I have no idea, but will watching to see if anyone else does. I saw my first swarm of ants flying last week. Had no idea they did that! Very interesting! NOT!

Hope they're something transient and not there to stay!
