OC's trip to the Lazy -4 Ranch

Post by oldcoot »

:bd: :bd: :bd: OC and his dearly beloved went with a CHURCH group Saturday to visit the Lazy 5 Ranch North of us. It is an open air facility with all kinds of animals running everywhere Only Cages were for the Prarie Dogs, the Giraffes and the Rhino. And they were large and open, OC sat at the baack of the wagon to get a better view of the annimals following the wagon. The Ranch gave us small buckets of food to feed the annimals which came righ up to the wagon. With a continual parade of little kids and us big kids, they looked well fed.....

That sounds like great fun. What an idea, to travel through an animal park on a horse-drawn wagon. I'm glad you got the good seat, OC, so you could see all those wonderful beasts up close.

:D :D What "Ranch" photos would be complete without a Zebra . Well thay had one of those too........As well as those thingies you see the African movies stampeding across the plains jumping with all four feet in the air.. They had several pair and it was to interesting to see them hop up into the air over logs and rocks and what ever.....

Enjoy.

Great pictures...thanks so much for posting. I shared with the kiddos who loved 'em!!!! Thanks for the picture of yourselves too - it's nice to put a face with a name.

Did they have three horse hitched up front of the wagon?
