Cedar Waxwings

I caught these eating berries on the Serviceberry "Amelanchier" bush

I love cedar waxwings. Last year was only the 2nd year in 20+ I've seen them in the yard.

Aha!!! You caught the little bandits in the act. Nice of them to put masks on before they come to steal your berries.

I suppose they've already been here and cleaned out my servicberry. I've been too busy to get out there and see if there are any ripe berries. Sometimes I manage to get a handful to eat myself if I am on my toes.
