1st Fledging didn't get far!

Post by wishiwere »

We missed the first flight, but it should be on tape, just don't want to stop the camera now in case another one takes the flight.

The first one somehow ended up under neath the shelf on top of some sheets of plywood that were standing on end against the back wall. He's only about 18" below the nest, but can't figure out of course how to fly around and back up.

He finally followed dad out later after getting food for enticement. These pictures show him sitting on the edge of the plywood up close and the others shows where he sat for a couple hours in comparison to where his siblings are still nesting.

Dad is still feeding and doing KP, although it's smaller amounts and not as often today.

I'll try to post a movie again tomorrow of them, if anyone is left in the nest :D
