That's an easy climb. My parent's have a 10'+ pole outside with a wood stove pipe 1/2 way up to keep the squirrels out of the seed. The more talented ones still manage. Also they can leap from trees as far as 8' away. You could get that feeder with the moterized bar that gets set off with the squirrel's weight, sends them flying!! The video is a riot!
