Quite a pretty bird but a real menace as it raids the nests of smaller birds and makes the most irritating squalking sound

I love Magpies.... :roll: We had them when we lived in Colorado briefly, but we don't have them here in Kansas....I miss them.... :cry:

So THAT's what a Magpie looks like! lol! When I was a kid, my mom would jokingly refer to kids who were dirty, or getting into trouble, as little magpies. :)

That one looks very similar to ours. I wonder if they were imported like the (bleep) starlings were?
