If you know the rhyme of the magpies
One for sorrow, two for joy etc

One for sorrow
Two for joy
Three for a girl
And four for a boy
Five for silver
Six for gold
Seven for a secret never to be told
Eight's a wish
And nine a kiss
And ten is a bird you must not miss .....

I love magpies but have only seen them once as we don't have them where we live. Love the poem!
