Geepers! I thought we had a lot at over 40+! Just here though, not in my lifetime.

I've been lucky enough to travel and move around, and to have a good memory from childhood. I've lived in the desert southwest, eastern coast of the US, Europe, Asia, and have traveled to Hawaii, which gave me a few "odd balls" such as the very endangered Ne Ne Hawaiian goose. There are a few pairs that live in parkland areas (not captive, but semi-tame like Canada geese can get in the US), and I was lucky enough to see some when I was visiting a tourist site.

Yes, I think so. There were still a few pairs when I visited several years ago. I don't have a digital picture, but I think I have some "old style" ones in my stack of pics someplace.

If I remember, they were at a lighthouse on the island of Kauai
