Pheasants

Post by Linda P »

These guys have been hanging around my yard since they were little chicks last summer. There are 4 cocks and 3 hens, and they're here nearly every day cleaning up under the bird feeders and roosting in the shrubs and trees. There are trails in the snow all over the yard. When they run through the snow, their tails leave a path. It's really hard to get a pic of them...they take off if they hear the slightest noise, so these are all taken through the windows.
I wish I could get a better pic of them. They are beautiful birds, and they really brighten the winter landscape.
