I know the pros might not think so, but for me, this shot yesterday really made me say WOW!!

I did NO editing on this pic either!

That is terrific, Claudia!!!!! Beautiful!

How far away were you when you took the photo?

I don't think I told it here, but it I was having real trouble getting any good pics with my new camera. I thought, "Man, I know I don't know anything about photography, but sheesh....Then I went to some websites where people rate their cameras and all these 13-16 year old teens were saying this is their 1st camera and what great pics it took. Something must be wrong....

So I called Fuji and it turned out my new camera was defective.

Then came the saga of trying to return it to where I bought it where it was 5 days outside their 30 day in-store warranty, or I would have to send it off to Fuji for 'repair.' I bought a 'new' camera....I didn't want one that was repaired. Finally talked to enough managers at the store and one agreed to let me exchange it.

All better now! :D

Great pic, Claudia!

Thanks!

Boy what an ordeal, Charla! I would have been fuming for sure!! I was wondering why we hadn't seen any pics yet. Glad you were able to get an exchange. I wouldn't have been happy with a 'repaired' new camera either!

I was inside shooting through the window but its probably about 10-12 feet.

Bless you heart. I know how mad you were. That is the one thing that makes this old coot's blood really boil. TO buy something new, pay good money for it an it not work.

Had to send my XT back to cannon last summer three times before they got it right. Works just fine now only OC can't get out to use it. Not quite stable enough to shoot through the window yet - but SOON..........

Yes, thanks, I am also glad I was able to get the camera thing straightened out. I was so disappointed as I had wanted it for a long time.

I was noticing since I have been looking at your pics, Claudia, that I can't remember the last time I saw a squirrel out here. The hard freeze we had prevented the walnut and hedge trees from producing seed this year and the squirrels must have left. Haven't seen many birds either, but I can't feed them because of my cats.

I'm glad you finally got your camera corrected, too, OC. I hope you get to take some pics again real soon. I'll be praying that the birdies and the squirrels come right up to the window and sit real still so you can take their picture. :D

Claudia is doing a great job keeping fun pics on this forum, but I would love to see some new OC pics, too! :D

Great Pic! I wish could find the one I have similar. It's So much fun after you figure out how to get the occasional action shot, isn't it!

That's a fantastic shot!
