Can you see the Cardinals?

Post by Pandora »

Wow! I have really enjoyed the pictures lately. It prompted me to take a couple.

The cardinals have increased in numbers coming to get a snack before bedtime in the last couple weeks.

Anyone want to count? There are some in the trees beyond the photo. Oh, don't forget the ones on the ground at the base of the wall. Some may be hidden by the Autumn Joy in the foreground.

(I couldn't get a thumbnail size pic to work this time)

Thanks all for the comments.

Nanny, during the day we feed 100s of all types of birds. But in the evening it is cardinals only. :P

Wish, yep, I counted 28. I was getting frustrated because they kept jostling for place. Some came down and scared 5 others and so on and so on. I tried to hold my breath so they would stop for the picture, but that didn't work.

Chris, you are right, it is fun. I was thinking about making a Christmas card from it.

terrific, and I thought I had a lot with 7 pair. But mine are mostly earlier in the day and always mixed with other birds. You managed to get an excellent picture. Good job. CHAR
