This guy showed up outside the front window yesterday while I was on the computer. Shooting through the screen so they are not real clear!

Cool... where is his crest? He does not have the crest like most Cardinals do. Is he young??

They lower the crest from time to time. He could have been nervous. :)

Spider is right. They don't always have it up. If you look close you can see where the feathers are for it on top of his head.

I can see the crest now that you called my attention to it. I have never noticed that before!
