Was out driving around today between me and my sis's house. There are huge strip mine lakes out there and TONS of baby geese.

They are toooooooo cute.



I think these guys lost some of their babies to the bigger group


And then there is always the loner..

ut oh~ I wonder who's turn it was to count heads in that pond hey? Someone's in a leap of trouble! Wonder if the mothers of the others will feed them if they aren't hers?

OMG, that 2nd photo is just incredible!!! They are all fantastic, but there's something about that 2nd one that just stops me in my tracks.

Hey Party_Music, that 2nd pic grabbed me too.

I think it's the way you can't really see the water except where they have disturbed it. The rest just looks like invisible background, like a blend of water and sky. You can see right in front of the adults that it looks like they are "pushing" the water. And the little bit of symmetry with the adults looking in opposite directions.

Yes, that's really a cool photo.
