We use to go to Florida every year. One year we were on a boat and a big one was following us

I got a pic of one in a ditch by the road somewhere. No where near as good as your pictures!

We were canoeing on Nine Mile Pond in the everglades. I was in front, with the camera. We heard a jet roaring overhead and looked up, then realized the roaring was coming from the water directly in front of us.
The thing was easily as long as our canoe. We wondered, did it think our canoe was a she? Was romance in the air?
I asked my husband to slow down so that I could get a picture of it. That undoubtedly was precise moment in which he realized I was insane. Bonkers. Totally out of my gourd.
