I got about 2 dozen pics of this guy the other night. He spats at me when I walk by. It is so funny. His better half must be back on the nest. They have already had one brood. They can do 2 in a season here.

Oh, I am soooooo jealous!! My Mom and Dad used to have these and my in laws have just started feeding and watching birds and have had these. Beautiful!

Oh, I miss those! i love the head feathers up, he's trying to be fierce, but he's just cute! Too bad the shot I liked the best (third one down in the last post) was blurry.

There were several I had to delete because they were really blurry. I had camera in one hand and dog on leash in the other. He gets tired of standing and waiting on me sometimes!
