Baby Killdeer

This momma and her mate set up their nest in a parking lot at my workplace. The parking space next to them was cordoned off to give them some room, and they spent their days running about pretending they had a broken wing anytime someone was going to or from their vehicle. After a few weeks the babies hatched and followed daddy around while momma stayed with the remaining eggs. After the 4th one hatched a few days later they all left.
The little ones were really adorable while they were here. They're feet are so outsized for their little fuzzy bodies.
