Dragonflies

Post by Annie »

Went to the park today to see if I could get some cool pics of critters. Well the only thing out there were tons of dragonflies.
I'm guessing it's time for the larvae to hatch? Not sure but there were almost as many "skins" on the grasses as there were the dragonflies themselves..

The shell...

And I "think" the new dragonflies themselves...

Then just a couple of others I saw :)

Oh you will! Now if I could just get good pictures of my fish tank I would be happy :)
What kind of camera do you have?

Bev, I didn't know they were the shells/skins either until I downloaded the pictures
They didn't look empty out there did they? See what you can see when you zoom in LOL.

Lovely photos. What wonderful colors they always have. They've been buzzing around here lately. I really enjoy seeing them.
