Eastern Wood Pewee

This a type of flycatcher. I had hoped to see on all summer on my walks looking along the woods. Never did spot one...until this one showed up in my yard the other day! LOL
In just over 18 mos. I have been able to idenify 82 birds in the area where I live!

I like the last picture.. it looks like he's saying "Hey! What are you doing spying on me!"
I am not sure I have these birds at my place... and of course, by the time I get back home, they'll be gone for the winter. I'll definately be on the look out next year.

I did feel like it was looking right at me through the window!
They are in the whole eastern half of the country. But they do migrate.
