Dang, what were you doing out there this morning??? It was still 12 degrees at 9:30 . . . . BRRRRR!

But I must say the pictures were worth it. I don't know how you get those shots, it looks like you are just inches from their faces!! Love those expressions!!

I thought of you and Nanny56 today . . . I saw the cardinals on my deck railing and it made me wonder if I could get a decent picture, but then I decided that it was too cold and I don't have enough talent to compete with the pictures the two of you take!!

Thanks first of all :)
Second, I don't go outside to take these pictures! I take them from inside my house
Also the camera has a very good zoom capability on it.
I hate the cold hehe.

This is where I take pics of my birds LOL.

My home made bird feeder, the flat one! Isn't it pretty?

Thank you OC :)
If you have a bird feeder close to your window it's so nice to be able to take pictures from INSIDE the house!
You already take great pics, so you need a set up like this, you stay toasty warm :)

I have a Sony DSC H50 camera. You would really like it, very easy to use and very good at zooming as you can see by the pictures :)
There is a lens available for it that makes it zoom even more! I want to get one of those one of these days.

Annie that Sony Camera are you using, what is the zoom? megapixel? etc, the cardinal pictures are exceptional beyond expression.
My Olympus has 10x zoom, and I can't get that kind of shot, I was thinking of upgrading to the Olympus 20x zoom, but you have me thinking I should check out that Sony too.
