Here's a new one for my list. I just happened to catch this lucky shot - the only clear one out of 5 (except for the "bird-butt" shot, lol, his vent area is only white :lol: ). I THINK he was part of a group that included titmice, but Katie ruined my binoculars so I don't carry them, and the birds were too fast and far away to ID for sure. The song was familliar as a titmouse song.

This is one of my very bad pics of the one I got.

Spider are you sure yours is not a White-breasted Nuthatch? That is a typical pose for Nuthatches.

No, it's absolutely not a nuthatch. I'm totally familliar with them and they are much bigger than this bird. Nuthatches also don't flit around at the smallest branches on the outside of the tree, they tend to stay near the trunks or thicker branches.

My blurry photos looked just like yours. :)
