Our yard looks like we have little kids because of the tracks everywhere. This mama and baby watched me from a distance get the paper & mail, drive into the garage, put out birdseed and go inside.
I changed clothes and was by the kitchen window, when they cut around the deck and straight to the wall.
How do they survive on such small amounts? I am really lucky that they get enough to eat and they live in the 800 acre park across the street. In 12 years they have only eaten a couple hostas and no shrubs.
If it eats birdseed, is it a bird? :)

Oh...how sweet! I guess many of them don't survive, so they find whatever food they can. Thanks for "feeding them", Pandora!
