That's a cool marsh! I love Marsh's.. we have a few here.. the good one is about a mile down the road... and it had all kind's of cool wildlife. Back in the day it was the local swimming hole.. but swimming has long since been banned there. I wouldn't swim there now.. too many snappers and probably leeches and that alone will keep me out of any body of water. The loosestrife is starting to really do it's damage and the county preservation that own's it won't listen to me. I've watched that area for over 20 years. I'm also responsible for the transplanting of about 100 pond lilies to other areas of the marsh! It sure look's beautiful when they're blooming. I bet a lot of folks don't even know or remember when the lilies only bloomed on the southwest side of the marsh.
We surely don't have beautiful white swan's at our marsh.. how lucky you are!
