Wood Duck!!....Bad Pic
I got this photo the other day at the pond just down the road from my house. Wish it would have turned out better...but I could not tell when I took the photo what it even was since it was a good distance away. They are just soooo cool!!

The pix are great. They make me believe Spring is on the way. We have no open water yet and haven't seen a lot of the birdies yet.

Wood ducks are very shy. That is such a funny angle, his head is looking so much bigger than his body!

Well, that was a temporary thaw. it is frozen solid again right now. Will probably start to thaw out again tomorrow as we have another warm up. Up to freezing today!!
