SS got me a camera It's a DSLR! I really like it, but man it's a lot different than my point and shoot
I can use it as a point and shoot, but I've been trying to stay away from it. Got LOTS of bad pictures so far
Here are a couple I think come out pretty cool.
This one is kinda "noisy", but I'm learning here hehe.
This is my favorite one so far. Of course it's the only decent one too LOL.

Darn it!! I can't afford to keep up with you guys!! I've been eyeballing the Nikon D90, but that is way in the future, my 2000 pc can't keep up with what I have, lol!
Seriously though... Awesome start! That Grackle is great! It really shows off all the colors. Seagulls aren't bad either! Shame on you for not posting the model camera you got, but with the excitement of it all I guess we can let it slide just this once.
I'm seriously thinking about purchasing one of these Annie. I went out yesterday and started zapping pic's with my digital only to realize how old it is! It takes a floppy disk and this new computer I have doesn't even have an a drive! I about fell out. I called my son.. "honey.. where's the a drive in this computer you gave me?" He started cracking up! "They don't come with them anymore Mom." I am behind on the times.
Annie, is downloading the pictures easy? I need easy.

I'm seriously thinking about purchasing one of these Annie. I went out yesterday and started zapping pic's with my digital only to realize how old it is! Yep, just like all the cameras out there now. You can either use the cord to plug the camera right into a USB port or you can remove the card and use a card reader. I use the card reader, my computer has the different slots for different kinds of cards built into the computer itself. If your computer don't have the built in card readers you can get a stand a lone card reader you plug into your computer via USB port.
I have NEVER seen a camera that uses a floppy disk! What kind of camera do you have???

Annie, It's a Sony Mavica.. and is a great camera if this computer had a floppy drive! I made a lot of money with that bad boy on ebay back in the day!
