White Pelicans!

Tons of them on a lake by me today! I think they migrate through here.

Here are some flying, LOL don't mind the spots I forgot to clean my lens I was so excited to see them :lol:

Great pics! Very goofy looking birds arent they? I see a lot of brown pelicans around here, only occasional white ones. I didn't know they went up to where you are. :cool:

How cool is that! I never see them here in NE Ohio. And I didn't know they were migratory. Need to read up on them. :o

I think most of them keep on going, but there is a place somewhere near here they breed.
I like the gray/brownish color ones better. These have that goofy breeding growth on their bills :lol:

Annie your pictures are wonderful! Since I got my new little netbook I can see pictures posted using photoshop so I can finally see all your pictures with that new camera! You have got the eye girl!

They have set up colonies in the Green Bay, south to Oshkosh, along the Fox River in NE Wisconsin, relative new comer to the area, now they are plentiful
