Pileated Woodpecker

One of my favorite local birds!! Though here year round we only catch a glimpse of them from time to time. They are more often heard than seen! So I get giddy when one comes and land on my tree!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very cool looking bird! On our bird outings me & my sis Annie hear them but can't see them. Lucky you to see one!
