Northern Mockingbird

Post by nanny_56 »

This bird showed up the other day late in the afternoon and hung around all evening. I haven't seen it since. I would really like to have a Mockingbird to come regularly to the yard!

They like grapes. My father had one tapping on the sliding door for grapes. Drove the cat nuts! This same bird would compete with our Quaker Parrakeet for voice rights. :)

I have my oriole table set up with a dish of grapes on it. I had hoped it would find it. It was everything except that. On the suet on the tray feeder, the paltform, even the water dish! Well, maybe it will come back........

Here's one from across the street. :) He's attacking my first Cooper's Hawk.

I think if you click on the photo it will open up the whole album and you can see the other shots I got of him. :) I need both a better camera and a new computer, mine's not showing any of the photos on photobucket even though I can upload them still. Last night it didn't show this pick so I had no idea if I got the right photo!
