I was just wondering when the Baltimore Orioles would be around. I love them. TFS

OH I haven't seen one of those in years!

What are you luring them up with?

We have what we call the "Oriole Buffet" there. We have oranges halves, grape jelly and a dish of grapes. plus a nectar feeder hanging next to the table. All their favorites!

You must have it out before they arrive or as soon as they get there. They find their food source and don't like to change it. I knew the date from last year so I have had stuff out for the last week knowing they would be here any day.

Other birds enjoy the goodies too!

Ok, that did it. I'd better get my oriole feeders out. I've never fed them grapes, just the oranges and grape jelly. I'm jealous. Thanks for sharing. :D

I leave the oranges out for 2-3 days. I try to only put enough grapes and jelly for the day. But the raccoons get the leftovers.

I saw my first Oriole yesterday at my feeders. Good thing I had them ready! I told my dd they came to say "happy 6th birthday" to her. :bd:
