My Prize!

Post by Spider »

Crested Caracara. This is from the Kissimmee Prairie State Wildlife preserve today. Boy that was a long drive for an hour window of no clouds! About 2+ hours, and one tank of gas, but worth it I think.

Now is it a Muppet I'm thinking of when I see this shot? Which one?? There was an "Eagle" Muppet wasn't there?

He looks very serious doesn't he?

Click on the photo to see the entire album. The Gatorland pics are still being worked on, so hang in there a while. :) I saw three Swallow Tailed Kites also, but was going 55-75 mph on the highway, so no photos. :( That's my next prize. :)

He's slightly smaller than an Ospray and he eats like a vulture. The book says he will "dominate" the vultures on carrion and will also eat small animals. He mostly runs around on the ground. I saw a couple eating armadillos on the side of the road.

Cool pics you got.
Before criticizing someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them you will be a mile away and have their shoes!
