Here is one eating a cicada:

I visited a local Nature preserve today, one on the Great Florida Birding Trail (I'll name it later, the pamphlet is out in the car). These spiders were everywhere! They were HUGE!

What a beautiful spider. The legs are amazing. Thanks for posting the pictures.

Yes, beautiful. But I have issues with spiders - no idea why, just not a fan. :-?
