Serpent and Stilletto Hosta

Post by NancyL »

This is the year for the snake in Michigan's UP. The Garter snakes are everywhere, no frogs, and no big toads. This big guy lives in my stone wall and comes out daily so lurk in my Stillettos. The Hostas are big clumps. I have seen one even bigger but I didn't have my camera, that one was as big as a small black snake.

Snakes really are amazing and colorful. Not sure why they gives me the creeps. Great photo. Been in my house near a woods and have only seen one snake. Same as yours.
